3M FireDam Spray is a flexible, sprayable, water-based coating. The 3M FireDam Spray dries in ambient conditions to form a flexible seal. 3M FireDam Spray firestops head-of-wall joints, floor joints, penetration seals, and perimeter joints (Curtain wall joints).   3M FireDam Spray Features: Good adhesion to most common construction materials; compression/extension recovery of +18.75% of original joint width; re-enterable/ repairable; water resistant; provides up to a 2-hour fire rating; water-based; applied with conventional airless spray equipment;  paintable.

3M Interam FireDam 150 Caulk is an endothermic, water based caulk for use in fire protection applications.   Penetration Sealing: This single component caulk is a superior heat and cold smoke penetration sealant for fire rated walls and floors. A one inch depth of FireDam 150 Caulk is classified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc.® for a 3 hour performance rating for penetration firestops. The firestops are classified per ASTM E814 (UL1479) and/or ASTM E119 (UL263). Wall and floor penetrations using FireDam 150 Caulk are simple to install with no special training or tools required.

3M Fire Barrier 2000 Silicone Sealant (Nonslump) and 3M Fire Barrier 2003 Silicone Sealant (Self-leveling) are ready-to-use, gun-grade, one-component silicone elastomers. Both cure upon exposure to atmospheric humidity to form a flexible seal. 3M Fire Barrier Sealants firestop openings and penetrations through floor slabs, walls and other fire-related building partitions and assemblies. 3M Fire Barrier Sealants, when installed properly, will control the spread of fire before, during and after exposure to open flames.

The 3M Plastic Pipe Device is a one piece metal collar assembly encasing Ultra GS (intumenscent) material. Manufactured with 3M's firestop technology, it has been contractor designed and UL Classified. The 3M Plastic Pipe Device is used for new and retrofit installations and will accommodate 1 1/2 inch (38 MM) 2 inch (5 cm), 3 inch (7 cm) and 4 inch (10 cm) schedule 40 drain, waste and vent pipe systems.

3M Fire Barrier CS-195+ Composite Sheet is a one-part composite system comprised of four components. The heart of the system is an organic/ inorganic, fire-resistive elastomeric sheet. It is bonded on one side to a layer of 28 gauge galvanized steel. The other side is reinforced with hexagonal shaped steel-wire mesh and covered with aluminum foil. CS-195+ Composite Sheet is designed to seal larger penetrations through fire-rated walls and floors. It is also used for shielding cable trays and conduit, HVAC ductwork and vital process equipment from radiant heat, flame spread and smoke.

3M Fire Barrier Moldable Putty+ consists of a synthetic elastomer designed for use as a one part, intumescent fire resistive putty used to restore the integrity of fire rated building construction. Up to a four hour fire rating is achieved when tested in accordance with the time/temperature curves and water hose stream tests of UL 1479 and ASTM E 814. This is achieved by the unique intumescent (expanding when heated) and high strength insulating char-forming properties of this material.

3M Interam Tape is an adhesive backed aluminum foil tape which is designed to seal in cooling vapors in the event of fire. It also serves as an additional environmental seal for the item being fire protected. Used to seal seams and provide physical protection. T-49 Tape is constructed using a dead soft aluminum foil 3 mils (0,076mm) thick and an acrylic adhesive 2 mils (0,050mm) thick. The adhesive contains less than 22 ppm leachable chlorides.T-49 Tape has undergone fire test qualification as an integral part of the Interam Structural Steel and Electrical Wrap Systems. No other tape should be substituted.
