Many of our vendors have started to let us know of impending raw materials shortages. These materials, coupled with transportation backlogs, are beginning to strain our manufacturers’ inventory. Our manufacturers are starting to experience rising prices for raw materials and limited availability.
We need to work together to help mitigate the coming squeeze on products. On our end, we will now have to offer a smaller window on guaranteed pricing. We are trying to keep our locations as stocked as possible with the products you need. We ask that our customers anticipate longer lead times for special order items or large quantity orders. This way we can ensure that we have the products when you need them. We also ask that you understand that we are doing everything we can to mitigate price increases but cannot control how they may change over this time.
